News about Sofia Hellqvist's wedding dress pictured being released has been taking the internet by storm as she gets wedded to her fiance, Prince Carl Philip of Sweden.

The newlyweds were married in the Royal Palace in Stockholm last Saturday and guests in attendance included friends and members of the royal family.

Numerous sites, including E! Online, had been anticipating the wedding to be a big event as hype about it has been brewing for a couple of months since its scheduled date.

Upon witnessing the ceremonies and seeing Sofia Hellqvist's wedding dress pictures, fans, along with the source cited above, were quick to note that her dress looked very similar to that of Kate Middleton's when she married Prince William.

Like Middleton, Hellqvist wore a V-neck dress with full-laced sleeves and a cinched waist. It was made by Ida Sjostedt, a Sweden designer who posted a photo of the newlyweds via her Instagram page. While the bride looked exquisite in her wedding dress, the groom, Prince Carl Philip, also looked as good as his bride. He was sporting a black military uniform and had a white hat to go along with it.
