Shailene Woodley Smiles In Between Takes Of ‘Allegiant – Part 1’ But Onscreen Boyfriend Theo James Is Missing

Shailene Woodley has already started filming "Allegiant Part 1" and she was snapped laughing on the set in Atlanta Georgia on Tuesday. But her onscreen boyfriend Theo James was nowhere in sight.

One of the photos published on Daily Mail showed Shailene Woodley holding on to her boobs as she giggled with Keiynan Lonsdale and Octavia Spencer. She was wearing a tank top and showing the distinctive tattoo of her character, Tris.

"Tris' three ravens tattoo, which symbolise each member of her family she left behind when she joined Dauntless in the first installment, was on show, while the star's short hair was also back," the article said.

"The actress first cut her long locks for her critically acclaimed role in 2014 movie The Fault In Our Stars and has been rocking the style ever since. But just a few weeks ago she was spotted with extensions in to shoot her other major new project - Oliver Stone's Edward Snowden biopic," it added.

Theo James has been rumored to be the boyfriend of Shailene Woodley when they started filming the first film, "Divergent." But he remains committed to his girlfriend Ruth Kearney, whom the "Allegiant" actor has been dating for a while now.

Shailene Woodley and Theo James will test their onscreen chemistry once again as they are filming "Allegiant Part 1" which is set to be released in March 2016. "Allegiant Part 2" will be released in 2017.

The pair has tested and proven their partnership as Shailene Woodley and Theo James were voted Favorite Movie Duo during People's Choice Awards. While rumors claiming they are dating proved to be false, that fact apparently did not affect their bankability as onscreen lovers.

Their fans are hoping, however, that Tris won't meet the same fate in the movies as she did in the books.

But "Allegiant" author Veronica Roth believes that Shailene Woodley's character, Tris, must die and seeing her books on the big screen-and despite fans' petition to change the ending-didn't dissuade that conviction.

"I talked to Shailene [Woodley] about how she reacted to the ending, and she really enjoyed the way that it ended," the 26-year-old writer said. "I don't know. I wrote Allegiant that way because I thought that was the way it needed to be told, and so I feel very strongly about it, obviously."
