Norman Reedus' camp has denied the actor is dating former "Walking Dead" co-star Emily Kinney.

"Walking Dead" fans became alive when rumors broke out that its stars Norman Reedus and Emily Kinney were possibly dating. But the celebration was short-lived when the rumor was denied as reported by Just Jared.

"We can confirm that they are not dating," a representative of Reedus told Just Jared.

Norman Reedus personally "decided to have a little fun with the buzz" about him and Emily Kinney as reported by MTV.

He tweeted a picture of him with actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger captioning it "new couple alert."

Despite the denial, the Norman Reedus and Emily Kinney were reportedly spotted together by TMZ.

"We got these pics of Norman and Emily at Paper Plane, a dive bar in Decatur, GA," TMZ said in a report on Thursday.

"It looks real chummy, but the two have been good pals for a while and that's it," it added. "She had a concert in the area earlier in the evening and they hung out afterward."

It was not mentioned if the pictures were taken prior or after the rumors that Norman Reedus and Emily Kinney are dating came out. Kinney did have a show at Decatur last month, according to her website. Us Weekly even reported that Reedus was seen supporting her in the audience.

Rumors that Norman Reedus and Emily Kinney were dating surfaced on Wednesday over Us Weekly.

"They had a connection early on in the show but the romance developed recently," a source told Us Weekly exclusively. "They're still pretty guarded about it."

Norman Reedus portrays a zombie slayer in the "Walking Dead" TV series. Emily Kinney's character Beth, meanwhile, has been killed off in the series' season 5 midseason finale. Norman Reedus and Emily Kinney will be seen together again during the Walker Stalker Con in Orlando, Florida next weekend.
