Rita Ora To Join ‘X-Factor’ As Judge; Twitter Explodes In Criticisms Against ‘Poison’ Singer!

British singer and actress Rita Ora is set to join the "X Factor" together with Nick Grimshaw. However, Twitter exploded with criticisms against the show's producer, Simon Cowell, because of the new set of judges.

The 24-year-old "I Will Never Let You Down" singer, who previously judged rival show "The Voice UK" for one season, was confirmed to have signed a contract to the Simon Cowell show.

According to The Daily Mail, Kosovo-born singer Rita Ora was convinced to join the "X Factor" after she was given by Simon Cowell a £1.5 million contract.

This made fans of accuse the "Fifty Shades of Grey" cast member as a "snake" because she was lured with the big contract.

In a tweet, one user said, "Rita Ora is actually a snake. She saw that X Factor paycheck and didn't think twice about leaving The Voice."

Some Twitter users even recalled how the "Poison" singer gave a few remarks about her small stint in the "X Factor" in 2012.

Calvin Harris' ex-girlfriend has criticized "X Factor" before saying that she has more respect for BBC's "The Voice UK" because it gives the judges the freedom they wanted.

She told The Daily Star, "I don't know how X Factor works, I was only there as a guest judge for a day. But I watched The Voice a lot, I respected how it came across on TV and I love the freedom we get as coaches to do what we want."

Twitter users also accused Simon Cowell of trying to kill the talent show following his decision to add Rita Ora in the judges table amid the show's rating going downwards as years passed.

"I'm guessing Simon Cowell is trying to kill #xfactor off What other explanation can there be," a user said.

For her part, Rita Ora seemed to ignore her bashers as she appeared to be very excited about her new show "X Factor," Perez Hilton said.

She said, "I am excited to be coming back. I had a ball here in 2012. This is a journey I can't wait to embark on to find some talented singers. It's the new generation taking over. Booooom."
