Kate Gosselin's kids are supposedly doing well as she talked about raising them better since she divorced Jon Gosselin. According to a report from People, the "Kate Plus Eight" star spoke up about moving on from her ex-husband.

Kate Gosselin's said her kids have been her priority after she left their dad. The reality star even went on to say that the time after her divorce with Jon Gosselin was the "greatest five years of her life."

"Don't talk to me about ex situations," she scoffed. "I don't define myself with that."

"My ideas haven't changed, my parenting hasn't changed. I'm just doing it alone now," she explained.

The TV personality and her family first became popular when they starred in the TLC series "Jon and Kate Plus Eight." The reality show featured the now-estranged couple and their 14-year-old twins Mady and Cara, plus their 11-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Leah, Alexis and Hannah.

"I want my kids to grow up and be each other's best friends," Kate Gosselin said about her kids.

Recently, Kate Gosselin brought her kids for her 40^th birthday celebration at Mexico. While at the family vacation, she clarified how moving on from Jon Gosselin does not automatically translate to her dating around.

"I want people to stop asking me if I'm dating," she said. "I would like that to end. [It's] a reminder that 'here I am, it's just me.'"

While the single mom has denied dating rumors, she has been linked to their family bodyguard, Steve Neild. According to a report from Radar Online, the two were even spotted being sweet with each other during a weekend getaway the Double Tree Hilton in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

"[They] looked like a couple," a source shared.

"They were smiling and laughing together. He even put his hand on her back while they were looking at the pictures. Kate looked tired, but very happy."

"Steve was very hands on with the kids. He looked like he was their dad," the source added.
