It looks like somebody needs to take her own advice. "Millionaire Matchmaker" Patti Stanger and long-time boyfriend David Krause's breakup has been confirmed after three years of being together.

But Patti Stanger was quick to dissociate the split from David Krause with the advices that she dish on "Millionaire Matchmaker."

"I know there are going to be people who will ask how I can be a matchmaker when I don't have a man myself," she told Us Weekly. "I am a human and I have my own issues, but that has nothing to do with my job. I have hundreds of happily married couples who found each other because of my matchmaking."

The "Millionaire Matchmaker" star also said that the breakup was necessary even if it was an "incredibly difficult decision" to make.

"David and I undoubtedly didn't break up because we don't love each other. David is amazing and we remain very good friends. We shared a home and dogs together, we truly were a family. I did feel a lot of love towards him, just not the right kind. I wish him the absolute best," she added.

In a blog post, Patti Stanger first announced her breakup with David Krause.

"Before you hear it from anyone else, I wanted to let you know myself - David and I broke up. It's unfortunate for a million and one reasons and obviously hard and sad for both of us. The relationship and break up had to happen," she wrote.

"I discarded that my love languages are gifts and touch. And I'm never going to be able to fall in love and be happy with a partner who doesn't fulfill those needs. David's love languages were time and words of affection. And he was great at speaking those love languages...I learned that I need to find someone who can speak my love language if I want to truly fall in love," the "Millionaire Matchmaker" star added.
