Robert Pattinson's exit from "Brimstone" has been unfairly blamed on his relationship with FKA Twigs, but the real reason for his dropping from the film can now be revealed.

"While a source connected to the project wouldn't more fully elaborate, Gossip Cop was exclusively told by an insider that Pattinson dropped out of Brimstone because of scheduling issues," the report said.

Gossip Cop also took another website to task for running an article that accused FKA Twigs of being the reason why Robert Pattinson's career has spiraled downward.

"CDL has a long and ignominious history when it comes to falsely reporting about Pattinson," it said. "A little more than a week ago, Gossip Cop busted the site for wrongly claiming that Pattinson's sisters were trying to have him call off the wedding. It's also the same webloid that Gossip Cop corrected when it inaccurately claimed Pattinson was leaving FKA Twigs and getting back together with Kristen Stewart."

The article in question was published by Celebrity Dirty Laundry which claimed that Robert Pattinson's career seemingly died when he hooked up with FKA Twigs, whose own career seemed to have thrived.

"The Twilight hunk is obviously smitten with the British singer, but her motives have always been questionable. Since they began dating FKA Twigs' career has been taking off, but their relationship seems to have the opposite effect on Robert Pattinson's," it said.

The article also claimed that the reason for Robert Pattinson's exit from "Brimstone," where he's replaced by "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington, was because "his needy fiancé Twigs was making it too difficult for him to devote himself to the film entirely."

"There is also the possibility that he backed out because the filming coincided with his wedding plans - which are clearly way more important than saving his career," it added.

"Ironically, FKA Twigs is rumored to have just received a major deal, and will be replacing Rita Ora on The Voice UK. And, we all know she never would have been considered for the gig if she wasn't marrying Robert Pattinson."
