They have been rumored to be dating, but Shailene Woodley and Theo James appeared to be comfortable enough with their friendship to be able to talk about their on-screen romance as Tris and Four in "Allegiant - Part 1" without a hint of awkwardness.

In an interview for Glamour Magazine, Theo James talked about his character and Shailene Woodley's Tris.

"They're co-dependent, in a good way. Tris is in no way the damsel in distress but that doesn't detract from Four being a masculine character," he said. "They're two people in love but broken by the situation they're in.They go from a burgeoning love story to two people genuinely in love."

Shailene Woodley, for her part, commented, "People love that they support one another so much and respect one another. It's sexier to see a couple that aren't all over each other. There's no point where Tris questions how Four will validate her. It's about recognising who they are and how they can support each other."

Both Shailene Woodley and Theo James have denied that they dated, although that didn't stop the rumors about their relationship. The actor is currently dating Ruth Kearney, while the actress has been linked to several men.

But their on-screen chemistry was obvious and fans have voted Shailene Woodley and Theo James as the favorite movie couple for "Divergent."

For "Allegiant - Part 1," Shailene Woodley changed her hair quite a bit.

"In the first film, the actress wore her hair long, although she did bleach it for the role," said Fashion Style. "In the second film, she sported a pixie cut."

In the latest film, Shailene Woodley cut her hair even shorter as she's sporting a bob while playing Tris.

The synopsis for "Allegiant - Part 1" reads, "Beatrice Prior and Tobias Eaton venture into the world outside of the fence and are taken into protective custody by a mysterious agency known as the Bureau of Genetic Welfare."
