Will Liam Payne and Sophia Smith's wedding take place soon? Even if many One Directioners are asking this question, it appears that the British crooner is not yet planning to settle down.

While the "Night Changes" singer recently talked about wedding details, it turned out that he wasn't talking about his own wedding but his sister's upcoming nuptials.

"My sister's just about to get married so there's not anything...I don't want it to be like a Ross and a thingy moment - no, I mean Rachel and Monica: 'you stole my thunder' - I don't wanna be the thunder guy. That would be horrible," he told Sugarscape.

Liam Payne even revealed to the website that he's writing a song for his sister's big day.

"She's actually asked me to write her wedding song, which I'm trying to do - I've got a year to write it."

Last month, Liam Payne and girlfriend Sophia Smith wedding rumors surfaced when the 21-year-old heartthrob visited famed wedding planner Mindy Weiss in Los Angeles. Mindy Weiss previously arranged several high-profile weddings including Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale's as well as Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum's.

Heat magazine reported that the One Direction member spent several hours in the wedding planner's house while his security team waited outside to ensure that the meeting wouldn't be interrupted.

The representative of the "I Would" singer, however, denied the news.

Nonetheless, when it's time for Liam Payne and Sophia Smith's wedding, it will most likely be heartfelt. As early as now, the "Girl Almighty" singer is already thinking of how to propose in a grandiose way.

He told Sugarscape, "I once heard someone's proposal was that he'd written letters for her every day and I was like 'damn' I wish I'd had that idea."

Liam Payne and Sophia Smith have been dating since 2013 although they have known each other since they were children.
