Fans have been asking about Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards' wedding date but it appears that the couple won't tie the knot this year because the 21-year-old songstress wants to make sure that things are perfect for her big day.

When asked by Britain's Ok magazine about the wedding date, the Little Mix member said, "As soon as we have time to make it perfect. These girls [in the band] are going to be in for it when I start planning - I'm going to be a bridezilla."

While no Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards' wedding date has been set yet, the blonde beauty gave a hint to Fabulous magazine. She revealed that she'd want to have children upon turning 24.

"My mam was 24, though [when she had her first child], so that's always been my ideal age," she told the magazine.

Apart from addressing wedding bells rumors, Perrie Edwards also talked about her fiancé's decision to quit One Direction. She told Ok magazine that she would stand by the 22-year-old crooner's side regardless of his decision.

"Whatever he wanted to do during that time, I was going to support him 100 per cent," Perrie Edwards said. She added that she's happy if her husband-to-be is happy.

When the "Night Changes" singer left the band last March, Perrie Edwards received hate messages. Some fans blamed her for Zayn Malik's decision and even labeled her as a "modern-day Yoko Ono."

Despite the hate that she received, Perrie Edwards wasn't affected because for her, real fans should know the truth.

"He's made it, the boys have supported him, I've supported him and his fans have been incredible. It's just the way it is," she added to the publication.

"Zerrie" is getting stronger despite the previous controversies which surrounded them. The two got engaged in August 2013.
