Blake Lively news reported how the "Age of Adaline" star compared the movie to her real life. According to the feature from Yahoo News, the wife of actor Ryan Reynolds also talked about their daughter, James Reynolds.

Blake Lively recently starred in "Age of Adaline," wherein she plays a woman who does not age after a bizarre accident. The 27-year-old expressed that she does not want that situation to happen to her in real life.

"I can't imagine sitting there watching my child at an old age, being forgetful, and knowing she's only got a few years left," Blake Lively said.

"As a parent, all you want to do is protect that. Your whole purpose of living is keeping that thing alive, and here you can do nothing."

"You're granted eternal life, and [your child]'s not. So I imagine that would be really tough," she added.

Even though Blake Lively has been busy with "Age of Adaline," she shared how she makes it a point to be hands-on with her daughter, James Reynolds.

The baby is her first child with husband Ryan Reynolds.

"I get, like, pooped on all the time, and barfed on," Blake Lively shared.

"If anything else did this to me, I would club it. But it's your baby and it's wonderful because even when it's tough, you just think, 'I'm so fortunate.' That it's wonderful."

The "Gossip Girl" lead actress made news earlier this year after she gave birth to her daughter.

Even though she wanted to take a longer career break after she had a baby, Blake Lively said the story of "Age of Adaline" was too hard to say no to.

"I wanted to take a bigger break," she admitted.

"It had only been like seven months at that point, [but] I thought, I cannot not be in this movie."
