Demi Lovato fell on stage during her "Cool for the Summer" performance. According to a report from E!Online, the pop star tweeted about the accident right after the KIISFM pool party.

The 102.7 KIISFM event was held at the WaterMarke Tower in Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday. Demi Lovato was slated to sing "Cool for the Summer," her newest single released just last week.

Wearing a sexy bathing suit and high heels, the former Disney star just finished having her microphone attached to her when she missed her step and slipped.

In spite of the nasty fall, Demi Lovato got up to perform "Cool for the Summer" and even jumped in the pool with her fans.

The 22-year-old recording artist took to Twitter to make light of the KIISFM incident. "Well...It's not a tour without busting ass! "#NotCoolForTheSummer #F-kIt," she wrote alongside a video of her onstage accident.

Hollywood Life reported last week about how Demi Lovato unveiled the sexy "Cool for the Summer" album art. The cover photo showed the singer wearing a teal cutout swimsuit, yellow high heels and a blue fur jacket.

"My new single is called #CoolForTheSummer and will be out July 1!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH," she wrote on her Instagram announcement.

Prior to Demi Lovato's new single "Cool for the Summer," her last release was a 2014 collaboration with Cher Lloyd entitled "Really Don't Care." It has been two years since she had her last album, simply titled "Demi."

Aside from Demi Lovato's new song "Cool for the Summer," another track that she holds close to her heart is "Warrior." According to a report from Billboard, the singer recently dedicated the song to Caitlyn Jenner.

"He is part of the most famous family on the planet," Demi Lovato shared about Caitlyn Jenner. "By coming out and saying he's transitioning into a woman at this moment I thought was so brave."

"That must have been so difficult to do. I don't know him all that well but I am proud of him," she added.
