SHINee Ranks Number 2 on U.S. Billboard World Album Chart with 'Dream Girl'

Group SHINee has made it to number 2 on the U.S. Billboard World Album Chart.

Today according to Billboard, SHINee's 3rd album, Dream Girl, took over the number 2 spot on the world albums chart.

The world album chart recognizes foreign albums based on their popularity throughout one week.

SHINee's "Dream Girl" is currently popular both in Korea and around the world.

On the Gaon chart, "Dream Girl" is also seen as number 1 on the online download category and the album category.

"Dream Girl" is an acid electro funk genre that features a fun dance song.

They have customized mic stands that are made especially for their performance. This new dance move has gained much attention from fans.

They also released 2 versions of the "Dream Girl" music video, including an original version and a dance version. They used different types of equipment to film the original version such as trampolines in order to show the effect of them 'falling'. The dance version revealed their amazing choreography and interesting mic stand dance.

On February 20, SHINee made their comeback through their "Dream Girl" showcase in Seoul. Many fans were excited as it has been 1 year since SHINee has made a comeback.

On February 21, they held their first comeback stage on Mnet "M! Countdown." They performed 2 songs including the title song and melted the fans of hearts with their unique performance.

SHINee is raising in popularity and will continue to appear on music show programs for their new album.

Group SHINee debuted through SM Entertainment in 2008. They became famous with their debut song, "Replay."

SHINee has released various albums and concerts and is known for their signature 'SHINee trend', which refers to their complex choreography for their songs.

They debuted in Japan in 2011 with their Japan version of "Replay."
