'Dance Moms' Season 6 In Peril; Abby Miller, Maddie Ziegler's Return Still Uncertain?

Season 6 of "Dance Moms" is in danger as it was reported that its major stars, Abby Lee Miller and Maddie Ziegler, are uncertain if they are coming back to the reality show.

In an interview with MTV, Maddie Ziegler-who rose to prominence with her haunting performance in Sia's music video "Chandelier"-said that they just finished with season 5.

"I'm not sure what's going to happen for season six. I don't know if I'm going to do it or not, so it just depends," she said.

Previously, Abby Lee Miller also said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she's not keen on coming back for season 6 of "Dance Moms" because the Lifetime Network "is a little arrears on their payment plan with me."

She hinted that the second half of "Dance Moms" season 5 would have a lot of episodes where Abby Lee Miller is not featured.

Abby Lee Miller explained, "There was an altercation at one of the competitions. The producer threw me out! So I left and I didn't come back... There's about one [episode] that I just wasn't there [for]. And I thought, 'You know what? If they can do it without me, do it without me.'"

The dance instructor also claimed that the reality show is affecting her business when the truth is "it's the opposite."

She said, "Kids left because of the crew, and stepping on their bags and pushing them out of the way and all those things. The kids on the show need to take class, need to continue training... nothing is more important to me than them being in class."

Maddie Ziegler has been very vocal about her intention to become a serious actress and she has scored a gig for "Pretty Little Liars." To date, the youngster has not granted any interview that had her recanting her initial statement that she might not be joining "Dance Moms" season 6.
