Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have announced that they are divorcing but it seems the "13 Going on 30" actress is still hoping against hope for a reunion.

The 43-year-old actress was snapped still wearing her wedding ring on while she was out and about in New York City on Tuesday.

The actress returned to the US after vacationing in Bahamas with Ben Affleck and their three kids in light of the divorce announcement.

"Jen seemed to have plenty on her mind as she juggled a bottle and her brown leather clutch on her hand with the ring on it and tapped away on her mobile with the other," said Daily Mail. "She did look stylish for the day out on the East Coast as she sported a dark blue denim mini dress along with strappy black leather heeled sandals."

After Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's vacation following their divorce announcement, the actor has also returned to Los Angeles solo after the Bahamas vacation.

But the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" star already ditched his wedding ring when snapped by the tabloids looking very scruffy, which means that he already has come to terms with the divorce from his wife of 10 years.

Early this month, Page Six reported that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner made sure to let the kids know that they are the priority even with the divorce.

"They have been spending a lot of time with the kids. This has been hard for everyone, but they are both doing everything to put the kids first," the source said. "Ben and Jen are just worried about how the kids will adjust. That's why they went away together."

The statement announcing the divorce of the couple read, "After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce."

"We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding," it added.
