Taylor Swift News: Contract Indicates ‘Bad Blood’ Songstress Has Right To Injure Photographers And Destroy Their Equipment

The latest Taylor Swift news reports have charmed many because Calvin Harris' girlfriend donated $50,000 to an 11-year-old fan diagnosed with leukemia. However, some are also frowning because certain parts of the blonde beauty's contract for photographers appear to be questionable.

Montreal Gazette first released the portion of Taylor Swift's contract which outlined that photographers attending her event shouldn't be surprised if they would be injured during the show. The contract reads that photos captured during the concert may only be published once. Afterwards, such photos must be deleted. This means that those photos couldn't be archived and reused when reporting Taylor Swift news.

The "Bad Blood" songstress can also take ownership of the photos for free in order to promote herself and her albums. The contract also informs photographers that Taylor Swift's team has the right to confiscate photographic equipment without compensation.

Last month, photographer Jason Sheldon accused the "I Knew You Were Trouble" hit maker for not playing it fair when it comes to image rights.

"With all due respect to you too Taylor, you can do the right thing and change your photo policy. Photographers don't ask for your music for free. Please don't ask us to provide you with your marketing material for free," he wrote as a response to Taylor Swift's letter criticizing Apple.

The "Styles" songstress argued that it's not fair for Apple to withhold payments to artists during the three-month trial period.

"If you don't like being exploited, that's great - make a huge statement about it, and you'll have my support. But how about making sure you're not guilty of the very same tactic before you have a pop at someone else?" Jason Sheldon continued.

Jason Sheldon claims that in 2011, he was asked to sign a form that gave Taylor Swift's team the right to own and reuse the images he captured at the pop star's LG Arena performance in Birmingham.

"I can't use it in my portfolio, feature it on my website and even the original newspaper couldn't reuse it," the celebrity photographer claimed in his letter.
