Vocal group 2AM has made a comeback just in time for this spring and revealed that they wanted to be accepted as artists.

Today at their 'One Spring Day' album release press conference, they stated, "It has been 5 years since our debut and we feel that we have grown more mature in those 5 years. We want to be accepted as artists."

Member Changmin commented, "Park Jin Young has told us that we need to change our popularity into acceptance. We agree with that."

Their new title song, "One Spring Day," reveals a warm sound and is of a man who reminisces about the past. The group, who usually wore dark suits, wore outfits that were more appropriate for the spring reason. 

They commented, "We usually sang songs that were dark, but we decided to sing a bright song this time to match the season and to show a different side of us."

They stated that while dance idol groups changed up their image through their stage performance, they changed up their style through different styles of songs. They worked harder to bring a new image to their usual slow ballad style.

They also worked with other famous artists such as Epitone Project and Yiruma for this new album as well.

Their new album will release tomorrow, March 5.
