Before the donut-licking fiasco hit the tabloids, Ariana Grande was on a high while filming scenes for "Zoolander 2," according to the latest spoilers and news on the Ben Stiller- and Owen Wilson-starred comedy.

Susan Sarandon, 68, confirmed that she just finished shooting scenes with the "Problem" singer in Rome. The veteran actress also came to the defense of Ariana Grande in light of the donut-licking scandal as she said that Big Sean's former girlfriend is "great, very talented person!"

"Well, I just worked with her. We did Zoolander 2 together, in Rome," she told Vulture.

According to the "Zoolander 2" news and spoilers, Ariana Grande will join an all-star cast that includes Justin Bieber, Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell, Penelope Cruz, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Billy Zane, and Olivia Munn.

On Friday, Ben Stiller posted on Instagram what perhaps is the biggest collection of the duck face ever as he took a selfie of the crew of "Zoolander 2."

He captioned the image, "DAIYE #66 CREW PHOTO #ZOOLANDER2 #ROMA #CREWSTEEL 2 more days... Going to miss this place!"

"The CREWSTEEL hashtag is a rip off of the actor's famous Blue Steel pose in the 2001 movie about two clueless catwalk stars, Derek Zoolander and Hansel, played by Ben and Owen," noted Daily Mail. "The actors sucked in their cheeks and pouted in best male model style surrounded by a gaggle of people all trying to get into the selfie."

In May this year, Derek Zoolander and Hansel announced "Zoolander 2" in the only way they can, by walking the runway during the Paris Fashion Week.

"Zoolander (Ben Stiller) stomped down the Valentino runway in a Night Butterflies brocade suit with hand-embroidered overcoat and Creeper shoes," said Entertainment Weekly. "His friend and fellow model, Hansel (a.k.a. Owen Wilson), sported Silk Continent print Pajama suit with Double Cashmere overcoat and Open sneakers."
