"Fashion Police" news reported how Zendaya Coleman's feud with Giuliana Rancic might have influenced her to resign as host from the network's other shows. According to a report from People, the "E! News" anchor spoke up to stop the speculations.

"It has nothing to do with [Fashion Police]," Giuliana Rancic said about her departure from "E! News."

"I had this plan way before. And E! has been incredibly supportive and gracious."

The controversial "Fashion Police" host made news earlier this year when she joked about "KC Undercover" actress Zendaya Coleman. During the 2015 Oscars red carpet review, Giuliana Rancic scoffed at the teen star's dreadlocks, saying she "probably smelled like patchouli oil or weed."

After a humbling public apology, fans were quick to speculate that Giuliana Rancic's misunderstanding with Zendaya Coleman affected her role as "E! News" anchor. Her last day on the show will be on Aug. 10.

The cancer survivor denied that her departure from E! News had anything to do with "Fashion Police" news reported earlier this year. Giuliana Rancic was even blamed after hosts Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin unexpectedly quit the hit fashion critique show.

"It was 100 percent my decision to leave," Giuliana Rancic clarified.

"I brought up the idea to leave three years ago, but E! News kept extending me because they wanted me to stay," she said.

"This [resignation] has been three years in the making."

The criticisms she received from her Zendaya Coleman controversy and her recent resignation from "E! News" made Giuliana Rancic look back to when she was still starting out in the entertainment industry.

"I took on a challenge 14 years ago. I was a young reporter, and E! News was my dream job," she narrated.

"It's been an incredible journey. But after 14 years, I have nothing else to accomplish on the show."

"I want to grow as a person, as a businesswoman, as a host, and in order for me to grow, I need to take on a new venture and new challenges," she added.
