Is Jake Ballard going to die again, this time for good? Scott Foley and Kerry Washington's alleged feud have boiled over as the actress reportedly wielded her clout and demanded from Shonda Rimes to kill off Jake Ballard in "Scandal" season 5 storyline.

The Star tabloid, as shared by Celebrity Dirty Laundry claimed that Kerry Washington allegedly doesn't want to work with Scott Foley anymore.

Despite their alleged feud, Kerry Washington's character Olivia and Scott Foley's character Jake are lovers in "Scandal" season 5.

"Sources say Kerry Washington's tense relationship with on-screen boyfriend Scott Foley is what got his character riddled with stab wounds on the season finale," and insider shared the news to Star. "While Scott has assured fans that he will be back next season, he also has hinted that Shonda Rhimes said the end is near."

Apparently, Scott Foley's attitude is what riled up Kerry Washington.

The source explained, "Kerry is a very take-charge gal, but Scott is a veteran actor with his own opinions, and many of them rubbed Kerry the wrong way. Scott knows that Kerry is tight with Shonda, so he sees the writing on the wall. He wouldn't be surprised if he got killed off early this fall."

Perhaps, the previous "Scandal" storyline where Jake Ballard "died" was a trial balloon for the producers on how the public will accept his leaving the show?

At the end of "Scandal" season 4, President Fitz was seen kicking Mellie out of the White House and Jake Ballard finally letting go of Olivia. Both developments seemed to lay down the predicate about Fitz and Olivia being together, which leaves Jake the odd man out. Would that mean Scott Foley is on the way out because of his alleged feud with Kerry Washington?

Mellie Grant, however, is not about to lay down and accept Fitz' actions.

Bellamie Young talked to Hollywood Life about what she expects from "Scandal" season 5 storyline, "I hope ultimately that Mellie is president and Fitz is by her side and he loves her so much again and they've weathered that Olivia (Kerry Washington) storm, and now they're together and it's happiness."
