Sienna Miller, Tom Sturridge Breakup: Couple Yet To Comment On Split, Custody Of Daughter Marlowe

After three years of being together, Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge reportedly called it quits. The former couple has yet to make a statement on the breakup as well as custody of daughter Marlowe.

According to Us Weekly, the split between Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge shouldn't come as a surprise since the pair has been "in a bit of a rough patch for a while.

"Their schedules on top of raising a child started to get to them," the insider said.

Tom Sturridge is four years Sienna Miller's junior.

Marlowe was born in July 2012 and Sienna Miller hasn't really found motherhood to be that easy. In a previous interview with Time Out magazine, she said, "It's a shock, of course it is. Some people find it really easy, but for me I found it really hard."

However, she eventually came around when she gushed about daughter Marlowe in the January 2015 issue of Vogue magazine, "It was like, 'There you are - that's what I have been missing. Like we're both in on something only we know. An amazing sense of being complicit with a little being."

The British Sun tabloid, per Daily Mirror, was the first to report about the Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge breakup adding that, "It's a very amicable breakup and they intend to remain great friends."

A source claimed that the former couple "still love and respect each other as friends and parents."

"It was just a case of them being honest with each other and putting first the fact they are parents," the article added.

Last year, in an interview with Vogue, per E! News, Sienna Miller credited Tom Sturridge for being very grounded, "intelligent, kind and intact person."

"As much as he helps my work, I help him. We're both completely supportive of that need for creative output. At the moment, we're just both trying to blast it, to get to a really great place," she said.
