Tom Cruise’s Scientology Faith Still Intact; Actor Not Leaving Religion For Daughter Suri Cruise

Despite recent reports that Tom Cruise's Scientology days are over, it appears that the "War of the Worlds" actor is far from quitting the religion. It has been reported that he has taken on a new task for his religion - the establishment of a news network that's reminiscent of CNN.

The network, which is under the Scientology Media Productions, will solely be devoted to the religion. Insiders of Redbook also said that the "Top Gun" actor is helping his religion to construct a studio which will reportedly amount to $50 million.

The studio will be used to film recruitment videos and other things relevant to the religion. Some suggest that Tom Cruise will similarly use the studio for his own Hollywood films:

"[The establishment of Scientology Media Productions] gives Cruise, who is worth $450 million, and Scientology, which has $8 billion in reserves, the opportunity to heavily influence the movie world again, which they were doing back in the day when they pressured top Hollywood execs to get what they wanted on films such as 'War of the Worlds,' 'Days of Thunder' and 'Battlefield Earth.'"

Tom Cruise's Scientology responsibilities are far from over as there have been reports claiming that aspiring girlfriends of the Tinseltown star will film their "audition tapes" in the new studio.

Previously, it was reported that Tom Cruise would leave the Church of Scientology because he wanted to focus on his daughter with ex-wife Katie Holmes.

"She was going on and on about her ballet class and how much she loves it. That's when Tom realized he's never seen her perform ballet and he started to tear up," said an insider to the Sun.

"It hit him that she's growing up before his eyes and he's not there to witness most of it. They talk on the phone and video chat, but it's not the same."
