"Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller, who recently gushed about her ward Maddie Ziegler, won a major victory after a judge threw out the lawsuit filed against her.

This was the second legal victory for the dance instructor after a defamation lawsuit was junked by a California judge back in November. The civil suit was filed by Kelly Hyland, who also alleged that she and her daughters suffered emotional distress because of Abby Lee Miller's antics.

"On Thursday, the same Judge Ruth Kwan dismissed the assault claims from former dancer Paige Hyland in a separate complaint," Deadline said. "The judge said today that she'd watched relevant footage from the Lifetime show and saw no evidence that Miller was the perpetrator of an attack on the younger Hyland."

Meanwhile, Abby Lee Miller praised "Dance Moms" stalwart Maddie Ziegler on her Instagram as she wrote, "This angel face has taught so many children in world to love what you are doing, to work hard at your craft, and to persevere! I'm very proud of you! #ALDC #aldcla #aldcalways #dancemoms."

One wrote, "Favoritism. (E)veryone says that (A)bby only uses favoritism on the show, but maybe they were wrong."

Another commented, "I love this. You inspire people every day. Maddie and Abby. I love you both. Keep working hard never give up you are loved."

It was earlier rumored that Maddie Ziegler is planning to quit "Dance Moms" because she wanted to venture into serious acting.

In an interview with MTV, Maddie Ziegler-who rose to prominence with her haunting performance in Sia's music video "Chandelier"-said that they just finished with season 5.

" I'm not sure what's going to happen for season six. I don't know if I'm going to do it or not, so it just depends," she said.

If indeed Maddie Ziegler is leaving "Dance Moms," she won't only be the major star quitting the series.

Abby Lee Miller also said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she's not keen on coming back for season 6 of "Dance Moms" because the Lifetime Network "is a little arrears on their payment plan with me."
