Ezra Miller On Grant Gustin's 'The Flash' - 'Grant And I Are Chillin'

Set to play "The Flash" in the DC Cinematic Universe, Ezra Miller touches how he got the part, his character's background, and TV's version of "The Flash."

"Barry Allen is the Silver Age, who follows a lot of interesting discoveries in physics," Miller explained to MTV News' Josh Horowitz. "Where he comes from is, we figured out the event horizon was there, and then he was the character who was created through our mythos machine of comic books to break that event horizon so we could explore in fantasy, and I think that's an interesting idea."

The 22 year-old shared how "silver tongue" Zack Snyder called him up to tell him he already got the part.

"Zack got on the phone and said some 'stuff,' so I was pretty quickly sold by 'silver tongue' Zack Snyder," he revealed.

Miller also expressed his excitement over the fact the he'll eventually team up with the rest of the Justice League.

"I can't even really tell you what it feels like," replied Miller when asked about sharing the same universe with Batman.

Of course, the subject of CW's "The Flash" inevitably came up, but Miller thinks that having two versions of the character poses no problem.

"I'm not avoiding it, I'm not avoiding it at all," he said. "I think it's awesome! And come on - we're 'The Flash.' It's parallel universes. Grant Gustin is The Flash, and I'm The Flash, don't you see? It's the event horizon, we crossed it, baby."

Various sources including Comic Book claims that Miller's Barry Allen will make a cameo appearance in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." Warner Bros. "The Flash" is scheduled for a March 23, 2018 release.

Meanwhile, Grant Gustin will reprise his role in Season 2 of CW's "The Flash" this October.
