Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder are reportedly closer than ever following reports that the 23-year-old will soon welcome a baby with stylist Briana Jungwirth. Despite this news, the One Direction member is allegedly determined to make it up with his ex whom he dated for four years.

"The news of the pregnancy has actually brought them closer together," a source told Hollywood Life.

"He's been reaching out to Eleanor more than ever before and reassuring her that he never wanted to hurt her, that the pregnancy wasn't planned and that he's not in a serious relationship with Briana."

The University of Manchester graduate likewise celebrated her birthday last July 16. It's the first time in years that she celebrated it without the boybander by her side. Nonetheless, the "No Control" crooner allegedly bought his ex an expensive jewellery item.

Another Hollywood Life insider also revealed what the fashion blogger received

"Eleanor received the sweetest message along with flowers from Louis. She's still in LA visiting her best girlfriend, so he sent her 23 sunflowers, 23 white roses and a stuffed animal, a cute plushy elephant, with a note wishing her the best birthday ever and that he was thinking of her."

Meanwhile, while things appear to be better for Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder, music mogul Simon Cowell still wants the "Best Song Ever" hit maker to "man up" now that he'll become a father.

The producer also told The Sun what he advised Louis Tomlinson.

"You're fortunate because you're in a position to be able to look after the baby and not worry about too much else."

The father-of-one also added that the 1D crooner shouldn't be too hard on himself for "he didn't kill anyone, he just got someone pregnant."

Briana Jungwirth is believed to be 11 weeks pregnant and as per previous reports, Louis Tomlinson's mom and stepfather have already visited the baby mama's family for an ultrasound meeting.
