After months of speculation, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are planning on divorcing. And one tabloid has claimed that the award-winning country singer was allegedly cheating on "The Voice" judge.

In a statement sent to ABC News, the couple confirmed the divorce rumors.

The statement read,"This is not the future we envisioned and it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."

TMZ reported that it was "The voice" judge Blake Shelton who filed for divorce papers against Miranda Lambert in Oklahoma.

"We're also told all the financial arrangements have been worked out ... made easy by the fact that they have a prenup," the report said. "Our sources say he will get the ranch in Oklahoma and she'll get the family home in Nashville."

" Our sources say Miranda has been moving her show animals -- horses, a camel and a llama -- off the ranch in the last few days."

While there's no reason cited for the divorce, Celebrity Dirty Laundry pointed out that a third party could be involved in the divorce.

"According to various reports, Blake and Miranda's divorce was finalized on July 20 - however, Blake filed the documents about 4 months ago," it alleged.

"Ironically, 4 months ago is when news first broke that Miranda was cheating on her husband with fellow country singer Chris Young! Is it a total coincidence that the same month Miranda was reportedly cheating with Chris, her husband Blake filed for divorce?

It continued, "Possibly - but most likely not."

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton tied the knot in 2011 and they celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary three months ago. The divorce was the second for the "The Voice" judge, who was previously married to Kaynette Gern.
