A source told TMZ that Lil Wayne has been hospitalized this week in Los Angeles for multiple seizures.

The source says the rapper suffered the seizures Tuesday night after shooting a music video in L.A. and was subsequently taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital. Lil Wayne was released several hours later, early Wednesday morning. TMZ was notified that he is doing much better now.

Last October, TMZ also reported that Lil Wayne suffered two separate seizures on while on two different airplanes.

A representative for Wayne insisted that the rapper was only suffering from dehydration and migraines after a flight to Texas that caused him to be hospitalized.

After the rapper was released, he got on a flight headed for LAX Airport. He began to convulse on the plane, causing the flight to be diverted to Louisiana so Lil Wayne could seek medical treatment.

Wayne claimed he was prescribed seizure medication by his doctors after the incidents.
