Kate Middleton has a very popular nose.

Many New Yorkers are rushing off to visit their plastic surgeons to get new noses. And what is the most common nose this season? That of British royal, Kate Middleton.

According to a report by the New York Daily News, Middleton's cute little nose has become "spring's hottest accessory." Many envious New York women have flooded the offices of the city's plastic surgeons requesting Kate Middleton's nose.

New York's plastic surgeons have reported an astounding number of requests for the royal nose in recent months.

"A couple of months ago, these women started coming into my office and asking for Kate Middleton's nose," Dr. Stephen T. Greenberg, a plastic surgeon in Manhattan told the Daily News. "It has become so popular that we have made a file of a dozen Kate Middleton pictures to show patients when they come in for their consultation."

And news of the fad is spreading. Dr. Daniel Shapiro, a plastic surgeon in Arizona, told Fox 10 News that he had heard about the Middleton-inspired rhinoplasty trend in New York.

"It's kind of in vogue," Shapiro said. "I have friends that are in Manhattan, it is one of the highest percentage procedures now."

But the infatuation with the Duchess of Cambridge's nose is not exclusive to New York.

According to Transform Cosmetic Surgery Group, a cosmetic surgery providers in England, Kate Middleton's nose was the "most-requested celebrity facial feature in 2012."

And just earlier this year, the Daily Mail reported that Middleton had "the most desirable nose in Britain," and that Middleton-inspired plastic surgeries have tripled.

Experts and doctors have warned patients that the surgery could be much more complicated than expected.

According to Fox 10 News, surgeons have been telling clients that "not every face was made for Kate Middleton's nose, and often patients must have other work done to their chins, cheeks or brows to make the regal beak work for them."
