Amanda Bynes Has No Idea Her Fans Think She's Losing It: Friend Says Actress Is 'Blissfully Unaware' She's Self-Destructing [PHOTOS]

Amanda Bynes is "blissfully unaware" that her fans think she is in a downward spiral, a friend of the former "What I Like About You" star told RadarOnline on Thursday.

"Amanda has absolutely no idea about the reputation she's getting for all of her weird behavior," 26-year-old actress's friend said. "In fact, when she got her DUI and those hit-and-run allegations, all she talked about was the publicity she was finally getting!"

Bynes was arrested last April for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, after sideswiping a police car in her BMW while cruising through West Hollywood at 3 a.m.

Speaking of blissfully unaware, Amanda famously asked the president to pardon her in the case.

"I don't drink," the actress, 26, said in a Tweet to President Obama during the 2012 presidential campaign. "Please fire the cop who arrested me."

Then in November, Bynes told US Weekly that she is suing In Touch Magazine for publishing a story that she was parading naked in a tanning salon.

"[Amanda Bynes] didn't seem to care that everyone saw her naked," a witness allegedly told In Touch in the story that infuriated the actress.

"I'm 26, a multi-millionaire, retired," Bynes fumed to US Weekly about the In Touch article. "Please respect my privacy."

Last month, Bynes was kicked out of her New York City apartment after several tenants complained to building management that the "Amanda Show" actress was smoking marijuana "morning, noon and night" in her apartment a source told TMZ.

Bynes, who moved out after allegedly receiving a letter from building management that her lease was to be terminated, was also reportedly seen lighting up in the hallway of her non-smoking building.

Then there was the Twitter photo.

On Saturday, Bynes tweeted a barely recognizable self-portrait to the over 290,000 followers of her Twitter account @amandabynes.

In the photo, Bynes sport false eyelashes, a cheek piercing, acrylic nails and a curly synthetic wig.

"Wink ;)" was her caption.

Bynes who joined Twitter at the end of January, has been actively tweeting her thoughts on the social networking site in the last week.

Most of the tweets have been Bynes's thoughts about love.

"If it is meant to be, our hearts will find each other when we meet," Bynes wrote the day after posting the infamous twitpic. "And if our hearts melt together so will our bodies and souls."

"The best feelings are those that have no words to describe them," Bynes wrote later that day.

On Tuesday Amanda was back on Twitter.

"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth," Bynes wrote. Adding in another tweet "Don't read my mind, read my lips."
