Royal Baby News: Has The Royal Couple Decided On A Name?

Rumors are flying all over the place saying Prince William and Kate Middleton have chosen a royal baby name for their child, due in July. There has been no official word from the royal couple about the baby's gender or name.

Royal watchers were buzzing about the so-called slip of the tongue Kate Middleton had when greeting a crowd. Supposedly she referred to the unborn baby as a girl, but quickly denied it saying, "No we don't know."

Once the possibility that Kate herself suggested she was having a girl was floating around out there, it didn't take royal watchers long to start coming up with "sources" inside the place who "confirmed" the baby's name.

The name that most are reporting on is Elizabeth Diana Carole. It is an obvious choice since the three names are that of the Queen, William's mother and Kate's mother.

The only name that is official is Kate's nickname for her baby, "Grape." The Duchess has been using one of the Iphone apps to chart her pregnancy. "I'm Expecting," "What to expect," and "Baby Center" help moms-to-be chart their baby's progress in between doctor visits.

At nine weeks, the app told Kate her baby was the size of a grape and the nickname stuck. The Royal baby is due in July.
