Cara Delevingne Addresses 'Awkward' Interview; Sells Watch On EBay To Raise Money For Cecil The Lion

It might take a while before fans totally forget about Cara Delevingne's awkwardly infamous interview with "Good Day Sacramento" that started and ended on the wrong foot.

It would be recalled that Delevingne was promoting her new movie, "Paper Towns", on the show when the female host mispronounced her name as "Carla". According to Inquisitr, one of the male hosts quickly corrected his co-host under his breath.

The name fumble was followed by a seemingly awkward question in which the same female host asked the model-turned-actress if she has read the book that her movie was based on.

Fans said Delevingne's apparent sarcastic answer was a just response to a question that seemed heavily laced in sarcasm.

The female host was even caught saying they were letting the "Suicide Squad" star go so she could sleep or drink Red Bull, to which Delevingne was seen quietly mouthing "too far" before the feed was cut.

Delevingne was called out for the interview, and the hosts even took to Twitter to chastise the actress.

If it wasn't enough, legendary actress Whoopi Goldberg purportedly took a swipe at Cara Delevingne's disastrous interview on "The View".

Goldberg supposedly declared the Brit a "newbie" who "isn't famous" and argued that interviews are part of Delevingne's job as an actress, 3 News learned.

Meanwhile, it seems Delevingne herself has moved on from the fateful incident, seeing as she is much too busy with her upcoming projects.

Moreover, SugarScape reported that the actress, a well-known animal lover, is apparently trying to raise money for Cecil the Lion.

It appears that just as the rest of the world were shocked and saddened by the killing of Cecil, Delevingne was likewise affected and even took to Twitter to voice her disgust.

Now, the actress is supposedly auctioning off one of her personal possessions to raise money for lion conservation work. She has apparently placed her TAG Heuer watch, which she wore to the Monaco Grand Prix on eBay.

"The killing of Cecil the Lion was a tragedy," she explained as to why she decided to get involved. "Today join me to help the scientists who care about the future of wild lions in Africa and work very hard on their conservation."

Cara Delevingne has weathered a painful interview, and now, she's promised the funds she'll raise to WildCru, or Wildlife Conservation Research Unit.
