Bill O'Reilly Divorce Gets Ugly: Fox News Host Pushes To Have Ex-Wife Maureen McPhilmy Excommunicated From Catholic Church

Bill O'Reilly's divorce, has officially gotten ugly.

O'Reilly recently divorced Maureen McPhilmy, after being separated since 2011, according to Gawker. Recent court documents show that in addition to attempting to have his wedding annulled, Bill attempted to have Maureen kicked out of the Catholic Church as a result of the divorce.

This comes following reports that O'Reilly went on a pre-divorce campaign to destroy the career of McPhilmy's new husband, a Nassau County Police detective.

McPhilmy alleges that O'Reilly shirked on his duties as a parent in the joint custody agreement the couple had regarding their two children aged 10 and 13, instead handing them off to Long Island social worker Lynne Kulakowski, according to New York State court documents.

"The mother claimed that the [father] had repeatedly violated conditions of the agreement. The mother further alleged that, after the execution of the agreement, the father had hired the children's therapist as a full-time employee to perform virtually all of his parental duties," read the court document. "The mother's affidavit contained specific allegations concerning the father's repeated violations of the custody provisions of the agreement since its inception.... Moreover, the full-time employment of the children's therapist, the person designated in the agreement as a neutral third-party "arbitrator" of custodial disputes, by the father, constitutes a significant change of circumstance which could undermine the integrity of the agreement's custodial provisions."

McPhilmy's attorney alleged in court that Kulakowski was earning a six-figure salary from O'Reilly.

O'Reilly's lawyer allegedly did not object.
