Atlanta Hawks Cheerleader Stretchered Off The Court Following A Hard Hit To The Floor [VIDEO]

An Atlanta Hawks cheerleader was stretchered off the court between the third and fourth quarter against the Dallas Mavericks Monday night.

During a routine dance, the cheerleader, Kristen slipped and hit her head on the floor, and wasn't moving.

The Atlanta Hawks reported that Kristen did not lose consciousness after her fall.

"Our best wishes are with the cheerleader who had the incident on the court," Atlanta Hawks Head Coach Larry Drew said to start his postgame press conference. "She is doing well, from what I'm told. We are hoping that she is okay and are keeping things in perspective."

USA Today reported that the cheerleader was released from the hospital the same night.

The Hawks went on to lose 127-113 to the Mavericks.

According to her bio on atlantahawkscheerleaders.com, Kristen is a full time pre-k teacher from Houston, TX.

"I have an alter ego that comes out when I dance," she said in the bio. "I call her 'Kristina.'"

The Hawks are currently in fifth place in the Eastern Conference. They have gone 4-6 in their last ten games with Chicago, Boston and Milwaukee looking to pass them in the standings.

Dallas is 7-3 in its last ten games, but sit three games out of the tough Western Conference playoff picture.
