Lululemon Issued A Yoga Pants Recall Because Product Was Too Revealing

Lululemon had to recall it's popular black yoga pants when it was discovered that the material used to make the pants was too sheer and revealing.

The brand had a similar problem with their Spring 2012 swimsuit line.

On the Lululemon website the company says, "At lululemon, our most important relationship is with our communities and our guests. We recently learned some information about some product that arrived in our stores and we wanted you to know right away. At the beginning of March, our stores and ecommerce site received some black luon women's bottoms that didn't meet our high standards. The materials used in construction were the same but the coverage was not, resulting in increased sheerness. We want you to Down Dog and Crow with confidence and we felt these pants didn't measure up."

The yoga pants being recalled can sometime coast shoppers $100.00. A former lululemon customer to the Washington Post, "You expect a certain quality and the definitely let me down. For that price point it's unacceptable. Target has similar pants for $30.00. It's hard enough making a commitment to working out without worrying about whether you are baring your behind."

Lululemon says the company has not changed specification for the clothing or switched suppliers. The yoga pants recall will lead to a supply shortage, which could damage their revenue.
