Lindsay Vonn waited alone for over an hour in Tiger Woods black Mercedes while the golf pro went to watch his 5-year-old daughter Samantha play baseball.

The Daily Mail says Vonn waited in the car to avoid running into Wood's ex-wife Elin Nordegren, who was also at the game. The Daily Mail did not report if the ex-couple spoke to each other after the game. However they did report that during the game Woods and Nordegren sat on opposite sides of the stadium.

Woods and Nordegren divorced in 2010 after Elin discovered Tiger had been cheating on her with a number of different women. The couple's divorce was very public; media outlets reported on the situation for weeks.

Lindsay Vonn is a gold medal winning skier. She made the official announcement about her and Woods' relationship on her Facebook page Monday.

"I guess it wasn't a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods," Vonn wrote. "Our relationship evolved from a friendship into something more over these past few months and it has made me very happy. I don't plan on addressing this further as I would like to keep that part of my life between us, my family and close friends. Thank you for understanding and your continued support! Xo LV"

Vonn declared she was not going to speak about the relationship anymore, but that did not stop people on Facebook from weighing in on the skier's love life.

The reaction to Vonn and Woods' relationship was mixed.

"Congrats, Thanks for telling your fans the truth," posted Becky L Sterling.

Gerald Broadwater asked Vonn, "Did you fall on your head? I sure feel sorry for you...disgusting."

"Wow good luck to you both, two amazing athletes," says Lisa Marley.

Newsboy America told Vonn, "The guy is a jerk-dump the loser."

According to Vonn's Facebook, she and Woods have been dating a few months. The relationship cannot have a bright future if Vonn would rather wait in the car than go with her boyfriend to support his daughter. However, having a  boyfriend stained by a cheating scandal can't help matters much either.

But like Vonn said on her Facebook, it is really just between her and Woods.
