While Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wait for July to get here so they can give birth to their first child, trying to name the baby is being discussed.

The name being discussed according Kanye West is North. If you call the baby girl North West or North Kardashian, it would be quite original, or at least, not a common name.

"Kanye's ego is something else, so he's quite serious about the title," an insider told The Sun. "He also has a sense of humor though and knows how his self-indulgence is seen by the general public. It's half tongue-in-cheek, half what Kanye probably feels is true.

If North West has a ring to it, it might be because of Northwest Airlines might have been an airline you flew on or commercial you've watched. For a baby, that's up to the "Keeping Up With the Kardashian" star and the hip-hop mogul.  

This pregnancy almost ended early Kardashian had a false alarm in Paris during Fashion Week. The New York Post reported that she rushed to a hospital with fear of a miscarriage.

"Kim started feeling ill on the plane from Paris, and called friends as soon as she landed," an insider told Fox News about the reality television star. "She was rushed to her doctor Tuesday night in tears. She thought she was having a miscarriage."

As it turned out, she wasn't and was advised to slow things down.
