Malcolm Jamal Warner and Regina King have reportedly split after dating just over two years.

The former child stars have parted ways, according to reports Warner asked King and her son to move out of the house they shared together.

The pair had been friends since the 1980s when both were child TV stars and attempted to keep the details of their relationship private.

"He said he wasn't feeling it anymore," a source told Us Weekly. The insider went on to add, "She's still very brokenhearted."

The couple squashed engagement rumors in early 2011, although they knew each other since the 80s, Warner and King didn't become a couple until she divorced Ian Alexander Sr. in 2007.

"I believe the universe has a plan, and we probably wouldn't have been ready years ago. We both had to do whatever we had to do to be ready for each other now," King told Parade in January 2012.

"We like to protect what we have because it's very special and very precious... But I will say that it's a relationship that makes all the sense in the world," Warner said in an interview with BET.

"Malcolm and I have a lot in common," King told Essence in January 2011. "We've both been child actors and were also blessed to be raised by incredible mothers who instilled good values in us. Things are maturing nicely."
