Jon Hamm Rumors And The Mad Men Premier: Actor Told To Wear Underwear As Package Distracts Crew, Actor’s Rep Annoyed

Mad Men premiered last night at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles, and the Jon Hamm rumors circulating the blogosphere has added to the thrill of the reporters and journalists covering the event. It was reported earlier by the New York Daily News that the 42-year-old actor’s preference of going commando on the set has received a cease and desist order, though in the politest way possible.

Don Draper has been officially requested to please wear underwear. The reason is that the Jonn Hamm rumors on his sizable package have been sufficiently confirmed, at one point by a sighting in New York, and its presence is distracting the crew.

“This season takes place in the 1960s, where the pants are very tight and leave little to the imagination. Jon’s impressive anatomy is so distracting that they politely insisted on underwear,” according to the source. The source also went to tell the newspaper that Jon’s “privates are the inside joke” amongst the crew of the popular cable series. He continued that the “actor knows what he’s got.”

Jon Hamm rumors on his privates have long been in discussion since the series debuted in 2007. “Imagine how distracting that would be on the side of a bus or building. When the promotional pictures came back the first few seasons, we had to work with them. Everyone was concerned about too much Christina Hendricks boob, but if it’s Jon that has the most to show. It’s a good problem to have,” the source shares.

The Mad Men insider who spilled and confirmed the Jon Hamm rumors also said that during the first two seasons, when the series was in production, AMC’s marketing department had to digitally decrease the size of Hamm’s package to better suit the promo materials handed out for Mad Men.

Although this news of Jon Hamm’s well endowed stature and the fascination the media has poured in regarding the star’s privates have induced laugh and giggles amongst many circles, as well as humorous comments and viral parodies, the actor’s rep is not amused at all.

“It is ridiculous and not really funny at all. I’d appreciate you taking the high road and not resorting to something childish like this that’s been blogged about 1,000 times,” the rep said.

Mad Men is set to kick-off it’s sixth season on April 7 with a two-hour episode on it’s home network, AMC.
