New Florida Sinkhole in Seffner Second One in A Month, Just Mile & Half Away From Where Man Was Killed, Two Homes Evacuated [VIDEO]

New Florida sinkhole appeared in Seffner between two homes and the houses have been evacuated as a precaution Saturday night. It's the second sinkhole in less than a month.

The latest discovery is just a mile away from the sinkhole that swallowed a Florida man, killing him in his sleep just several weeks ago.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue spokeswoman Jessica Damico said the sinkhole was estimated to be about 8-feet wide and 10-feet deep. It reportedly opened about 7 p.m. Saturday.

Resident Ginger Kephart said, "I was thinking about the neighbors down the street about a mile and a half away, what happened to them about a month ago or so. And so anyway, I just said, 'Oh my God.' It put a fear, you know, in me."

The homes on the either side of the sinkhole were evacuated as a precaution.

Officials said the new sinkhole has not caused any structural damage so far.
