Pauley Perrette's ex-husband is looking at a year and a half in prison for violating his prohibition and a restraining order the actress took out on him.

Perrette divorced musician Francis "Coyote" Shivers in 2006. The allegation against Shivers says he showed up at a restaurant where Perrette and her current fiancée were having dinner. An argument broke out between Pauley Perrette and her ex-husband, which resulted in Shivers being arrested.

According to The Inquisitr, a judge granted Perrette the restraining order in 2005 after Perrette claimed she was in fear for her life. Shivers had sent her threatening emails and hacked her private emails.

Conflicting reports suggest that Pauley Perrette is using the restraining order as a means of revenge against her ex-husband. Shivers says he divorced the 43-year-old actress after he found out she slept with the pizza deliveryman.

Two former friends of Pauley Perrette told the New York Post that Perrette could be vindictive when it comes to her former boyfriends.

"She's extremely extroverted, extremely intelligent and charming, but she's wicked," said Jason Fishbein, a former friend.

He also told the New York Post Perrette "possibly uses restraining orders as a method of harassment."

Another former friend, Lisa Lynch told the Post, "I recall her stealing the cat of her ex-boyfriend. Then when he wanted to take her to court about this, she filed a restraining order in retaliation."

According to Lynch Perrette spent an "extended period" getting treatment at the psych ward of Cedars-Sinai.

Pauley Perrette plays the sweet-hearted, gothic, forensic scientist Abby Sciuto on the hit CBS show "NCIS". She stars along side Mark Harmon and Cote de Pablo.

In an "NCIS" episode similar to her real life experience, Perrette's character Abby has to file a restraining order against an ex-boyfriend who is stalking her. The boyfriend steals her mail and slashes her tires.

At the end of the episode, Abby's stalker is sent to jail. There's no telling if her real life ex will get the same treatment.
