Dennis Quaid Back Together With Wife Kimberly; Divorce Will Go Through Because Signed Papers Are “Sitting On Judge’s Desk”

Dennis Quaid is getting back together with wife Kimberly. But unfortunately, the couple has already signed their divorce papers.

Dennis and Kimberly Quaid's divorce papers are "sitting on the judge's desk right now," according to TMZ.

Once the divorce papers are sent through, the Quaids' divorce will be final, although Dennis and Kimberly are once again a happy couple.

This isn't the first time Dennis and Kimberly Quaid have split up and gotten back together.

Kimberly Buffington-Quaid filed for divorce in March 2012, but then took back the papers. She claimed that she and Quaid were going to work on their marriage.

The Quaids again legally separated in October of 2012, and Dennis Quaid filed the divorce papers in December.

The Quaids have 5-year-old twins.

The split meant the couple battled over custody of their twins. Kimberly was seeking spousal support from Dennis.

Kimberly had said that she felt their marriage had "become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities."

A source told TMZ in October, "Kimberly is fed up with Dennis' cheating and wants out of the marriage. He's not a good husband."

Dennis Quaid was so sure that he would divorce his wife that he bought a $3.1 million home in the Pacific Palisades region of Los Angeles for Kimberly and their twins following the 2012 split.

If the divorce does become final, it's unclear whether or not Dennis and Kimberly will remarry.
