A new sinkhole has opened up in Seffner, Florida, the same town where 37-year-old Jeff Bush was swallowed by a sinkhole three weeks ago.

This is the third sinkhole to open up in that area this month. The new Florida sinkhole opened up in the 1400 block of Lake Shore Ranch Drive in Seffner.

The sinkhole opened up around 7pm Saturday night between two Seffner homes. Residents of the two home were quickly evacuated as a precautionary measure.

Officials say the new sinkhole is 8 feet in diameter and 10 feet deep. It is only about a mile away from where Jeff Bush was killed last month. The sinkhole that took hold of Jeff Bush was 30 feet wide and 60 feet deep.

Rescuers tried to reach Bush's body, but the ground was too unstable and he was never recovered. The Sinkhole opened up just underneath Bush's bedroom. There were five other people living in the house but luckily they made it out alive.

Authorities had to bulldoze Jeff Bush's home; it is unlikely they will ever recover his body.

Authorities say the new sinkhole has not caused any structural damage. It is unclear when the residents will be able to return to their homes. It is also unclear how the authorities are planning to fix the sinkhole between the two houses.

Florida is a known for its many attractions that bring families to visit the Sunshine state. The attractions include Disney World, Sea World and Universal studios. But the state has a dark side.

Florida can be a dangerous place to live due to its many sinkholes. Sinkholes are so common in Florida because the ground is mostly underlain by porous limestone. The limestone can hold massive amounts of water. The water can saturate the ground above the limestone, causing a depression and eventually a sinkhole.

Sinkholes are not limited to Florida. In the middle of March, a man from Illinois was golfing with some friends when he fell into a sinkhole 18 feet deep.

Luckily, the golfer was not hurt and was rescued from the sinkhole by his golf buddies.
