The 72-year-old singer, Dionne Walker reportedly owes more than $10 million in unpaid taxes.

The singer's rep told TMZ that Walker filed for bankruptcy in New Jersey claiming she only had $25,000 in assets, but owes more than $10.2 million in taxes and fees to the IRS and the State of California.

The "Do You Know the Way to San Jose" singer's rep, Kevin Sasaki, told TMZ that Walker's financial disaster was caused by "negligent and gross financial mismanagement" in the late 1980s through mid-1990s.

According to the court docs, the five-time Grammy winner claimed she makes $20,950 ... but spends $20,940.

Warwick claimed she only makes $1,000 per month from music royalties, TMZ reported. She also said some of her spending includes $5,000 on housekeeping and $4,000 on a personal assistant each month.

According to the court documents, Warwick is in possession of two fur coat, two pair of diamond earrings, gowns worth $5,000 each, and furniture, which is 10-years-old.

Warwick's rep told TMZ that "In light of the magnitude of her tax liabilities, Warwick has repeatedly attempted to offer re-payment plans and proposals to the IRS and the California Franchise Tax Board for taxes owed. These plans were not accepted, resulting in escalating interest and penalties."

The singer worked with the likes of Isaac Hayes, Patti LaBelle, Elton John, her cousin, Whitney Houston, and many others during her 40-year-plus career.
