The issue of Kim K’s weight gain has gotten as much attention in entertainment media as some of the newest films premiering during Wednesdays and Fridays, and the reality tv star is unhappy about the coverage.

Kim Kardashian took to the airwaves to clarify that though people can see that she hits the gym religiously and has been having some trouble dressing her new body shape, her weight gain is not out of control. Kim K was contradicting the tabloid rumors that Kim Kardashian’s weight gain the past few weeks since she has been pregnant has been out of her control.

The 32-year-old actress told Extra that “There are maybe two or three covers just this week that say I am 200 pounds. I'm like, ‘You are 60 pounds off here’… It wouldn't even bother me if I gained all the weight.”

She continued, “I have the biggest sweet tooth and love junk food. Being pregnant I don’t like any of it.” There have been multiple reports (or rumors) that Kim K’s gain weight has been caused by her binging on ice cream, fries, and cereals loaded with sugar.

If the tabloids are off 60 pounds, as Kardashian says, that puts the actress and tabloid favorite at 140 pounds. She has four months left on her pregnancy. A lot of people obsessing over her weight and life would argue that she won’t go near the 200 pound mark.

While on Extra, Kardashian also took the time to clear up another rumor that has persisted since the world over has learned of her pregnancy – the all-important question of what she would name her child with Kanye West. Some rumors have indicated that the couple may be entertaining the name “North” for their future offspring, even probably the name “North West.” However, it seems that at the moment the couple has not decided on a moniker for their unborn kid. However, Kim K seems have assured everybody they will not pick anything suggested by the rumor mill.

“I think [a name that starts with K] would be really cute 'cause Kanye and I are both K’s… but half the names on our list aren't K’s. We still have time, whatever feels right," Kardashian told Extra. "Kanye, being the father, wants something that’s unique.”

The entertainment press has closely followed Kardashian’s pregnancy. Earlier this month, reports have surfaced that straight from the airport, after she arrived from Paris, she went to the hospital fearing she suffered a miscarriage.
