'Battlefield 4' Trailer Released At 2013 Game Developers Conference With 17-Minute Preview: Watch The Trailer Here [VIDEO]

A 17-minute trailer for "Battlefield 4" was released to a crowd Tuesday at the 2013 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

Electronic Arts (EA) revealed the video with a live demo, which is the 26th version of the Battlefield installment of the video game series, is the newest version of its wartime first-person shooter title, according to PCmag.

"'Battlefield 4' is a seminal moment for the series and for us at Dice," the company that developed the game said in a blog post. "We have long been known for our award-winning multiplayer. This time around, we are bringing the best elements of our multiplayer into the single player campaign."

EA announced at the Game Developers Conference that "Battlefield 4" will made available in the fall for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. According to Slashgear, it will not be available for the Wii U, but is expected for the upcoming PS4.

The game can be pre-odered now.PCmag reported that the standard version of the game will sell for $60. Those who pre-order will get a premium expansion pack.

"There's huge environments, a playground of destruction, access to an arsenal of vehicles, and the ability to direct squad mates - all within the single player campaign," Dice said in the blog, calling Battlefield 4 the company's most human, dramatic, and believable game yet.

As of 2012, the Battlefield series sold over 50 million copies of its games, according to AOL.

Deadline reported that in October, FOX announced it plans on creating a television based off the video game series.
