Hunter Shoots Deer at Walmart Parking Lot in Pennsylvania, Faces Several Charges

A hunter accused of shooting deer at Walmart parking lot in Burrell Township, Pennsylvania last November is now facing several charges by the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

Arcangelo Bianco Jr., 40, charged with reckless endangerment and five hunting law violations for allegedly shooting a white-tailed deer across a highway on the first day of antlered deer-hunting season for the county.

Reports reveal Bianco pursing the deer after jumping out of his vehicle, to chase after the deer that had darted around the edge of the store.

"Obviously, we can't have someone running through a Walmart parking lot shooting at a deer," Jack Lucas, a wildlife officer assigned to the incident, told the Indiana Gazette.

"The defendant pursued the deer through the parking lot and across Old William Penn Highway, where he killed the deer. The defendant then loaded the deer into his vehicle and took it to a meat processor for butchering," Lucas wrote in the arresting documents.

Bianco charged with five hunting violations, including shooting on or across highways and huting without a license. He faces a misdemeanor count of reckless endangerment.

"It was the nicest buck I've seen taken in Indiana County in a couple of years," Lucas said.

Bianco faces a preliminary hearing on May 1 in court.
