Lady Gaga is celebrating her 27^th birthday today, on March 28. Pop star Lady Gaga is still recovering from a recent hip operation, which means no alcohol for this birthday celebration.

However, the Sun reported that Lady Gaga's boyfriend Taylor Kinney and her friends are throwing her a mad Hatter-style tea party instead.

A source told the magazine, "Gaga's always been obsessed with taking tea and tea sets on tour to keep her happy, so they are putting a smile on her face with this Alice In Wonderland-themed do."

"She's still on painkillers after the operation on her hip, so she shouldn't be drinking any alcohol, which also makes it a good idea."

Lady Gaga has been recovering from her surgery in style; she made news when she ordered a custom gold-plated wheelchair to be crafted. The wheelchair came complete with a black leather seat and a removable leather canopy.

She had her operation in February for an injury that forced her to cancel some of her world tour shows. Earlier this month, Lady Gaga's manager Vince Herbert said that her recovery is going well and she was "doing wonderful, doing great" according to Belfast Telegraph.

Herbert added, "I can't wait for the world to hear her new music and see her come back healthy, strong and better than ever."

The Sun also reported that Lady Gaga had been given a bottle that used to hold poison as one of her birthday presents. A source said, "She's been collecting the antique blue and green glass containers after creating her Fame perfume, as she loves the morbid look of the skull and crossbones logo on the bottles."

Lady Gaga's fans, the Little Monsters, are trying their best to make their idol's birthday a good one. The Little Monsters have tweeted messages wishing Lady Gaga a wonderful birthday and a speedy recovery.

Twitter user @ARTPOPGOD said, "Happy Birthday Lady Gaga. It's your sweet 27 Mother Monster. Words cannot express how important you are to us."

Lady Gaga's longtime stylist Nicola Formichetti sent a birthday message, too. He wrote, "happy b day x love you x @ladygaga Happy Birthday Lady Gaga."

Lady Gaga's only response thus far has been to re-tweet a fan-made video from Indonesia Little Monsters, uploaded by @expensiveHOOKAH.

In the touching video, a little boy who is criticized with words like 'ugly,' 'skinny,' and 'loser' turns to music. The video then plays a montage of Lady Gaga clips, which leads into a heartfelt message for Lady Gaga, expressing how much she has helped her fans. The video can be seen below.
