Lindsay Lohan under the table, she was in Sao Paolo, Brazil nightclub Thursday to promote a clothing line and reportedly was paid a $100,000 appearance fee.

Lohan also hit the red carpet for the event in a black T-shirt bearing the clothing line's name, John John, with a silver sequined skirt. She blew kisses to the crowd and posed for photos.

However the 26-year-old actress once inside, instead of performing her duties opted to hide under a table, as seen in this photo posted on Twitter, by a partygoer as she hides in an attempt to escape folks who were hounding her.

The photo reveals the actress sitting on the dirty floor under the DJ booth. According to the person that took it, Lohan looks upset and has her hand on her forehand, didn't want to take photos with any of the fans in attendance.

A source tell E! News that Lohan wasn't drinking at the event and her arrival caused a bit of chaos saying, "She was amazing and fulfilled her obligations, and it is so sad that one shot was taken when she was trying to take a break - of constantly being attacked for autographs and pictures - under the DJ booth, and that in this case, the media is unfairly destroying her."

However this is only of the few unflattering photo that has surfaced lately.

The actress is in South America to promote John John Denim and spend the weekend before heading to NYC, then to attend next month's Coachella music festival in Los Angeles.
