Movie star Mekhi Phifer married his long-time girlfriend Reshelet Barnes on Saturday, March 30.

8 Mile star Mekhi Phifer married Reshelet Barnes at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, according to E! News.

The couple allegedly exchanged vows on a beautiful outdoor terrace with 100 friends and family members supporting them in the audience.

Mekhi Phifer's son walked down the aisle in the wedding party holding a Chihuahua on a leash.

Phifer wore a white suit, and walked to the altar with Stevie Wonder's "Ribbon in the Sky" playing in the background.

As Reshelet Barnes walked down the aisle to "Here Comes the Bride", Mekhi Phifer got very emotional.

According to an eyewitness who spoke with E!, "When [the bride] made her entrance into the courtyard, Mekhi was completely overcome with emotion and you could tell she took his breath away."

The source added, "He had to wipe tears from his eyes for several minutes."

This is Mekhi Phifer's second marriage. He was married to Malinda Williams from 1999 to 2003. Phifer and Williams have a son together.

Mekhi Phifer also has a son from a previous relationship with Oni Souratha.

Phifer is best known for playing Dr. Greg Pratt on the long-running television drama ER.
