The Kevin Ware Broken Leg Video Can Be Watched Here: Doctors Say He Can Amazingly Play Basketball Again In Six Months [VIDEO]

It was one of those freak injuries you might only watch once, if that. Louisville guard Kevin Ware suffered a broken leg Sunday in the Elite 8 of the men's NCAA basketball tournament, which is now a video you should be warned about before watching.

The broken leg moment happened against the Duke Blue Devils inside Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for a spot in the Final Four.

Former Washington Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann suffered a broken leg from New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor in 1985. That image stained the minds of football fans for years and is even talked about today.

When the 20-year-old sophomore attempted to block a three-point shot attempt from Duke's Tyler Thorton, Ware landed in grueling fashion. His leg went in a bunch of directions.

It drew such a scare that the players on the bench turned away as if it was a scary scene in a horror movie. The other players on the court for Louisville dropped to their knees and some even cried.

At one point, Louisville Head Coach Rick Pitino was holding back tears.

The Cardinals rallied together to dominate the second half against the Blue Devils, which lead to an 85-63 victory.

Louisville advanced to the Final Four on Saturday inside the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Ga., where it will play Wichita State, with the winner advancing to the finals on Monday.

CNN reported that Ware received surgery on his leg and as of Monday, can walk with crutches. It might only be six months until Ware can even start playing basketball again.
